Hair mask for winters

Well, winters are almost here and so does the problem of the frizziness of our hair. The hair tends to become dry, frizzy and rough. In winters you need to take Special care of your hair, give moisture to your hair and give them proper nourishment to stay healthy and shining. Well, don’t worry we have some homemade masks for your hair to give proper care to your hair in winters.

Strawberries and egg yolk

The antioxidants in strawberries add moisture and shine to your hair, while the egg yolk contains protein to strengthen the strands. Hold off on this mask until you have time for a long, relaxing shower.

Olive oil hair mask

It is one of the most effective and easy hair masks that are used by many ladies having some hair problems. To make this mask, you have to heat the oil for around 2 minutes. It is also possible to add some lavender oil in order to make the mask rich. Now apply this oil starting from the root till the tip of your hair. It will be more effective if you keep the mask for overnight and wash it away in the morning.

Ginger

Dandruff is one of the reasons for getting damaged hair. Take a piece of ginger and grate or crush it. Now squeeze enough juice from the lump.  Make a mixture of the ginger juice, two tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. This is a wonderful mixture to eradicate the problem of dandruff and get an adequate solution for hair repair. Apply it to your scalp and way after 45 minutes.

Yogurt, Apple Cider Vinegar, and Lemon

This hair mask recipe is ideal for deep cleaning product buildup, as the lemon and apple cider vinegar act as an astringent to wash away excess oil, while the zinc and lactic acids in yogurt have moisturizing properties. Pro tip: Dilute the lemon with water if you don’t want to lighten your hair color.

Potato mask

First of all, you need to take a large coconut, peel of its skin and grate it. Squeeze it and get the juice of potato out of it.  Add two tablespoon of honey with the juice extracted from potato. Now massage it over your scalp from tip to toe. Rinse it with Luke warm water and use a mild shampoo.

Mustard oil and fenugreek

You need to soak Fenugreek seed or methi seed overnight. Then, you need to grind it well till it becomes the fine paste.  Now add few drops of mustard oil in it and make a good mixture. Us this packs to massage your scalp for a period of half an hour.  Now you need to use the mild shampoo and Luke warm water to wash it.

Banana and egg pack

This pack is a good mask to prevent the hair problems in winter. Mix 2 eggs and 2 ripe bananas into a paste and add two vitamin E capsules and few drops of lemon to it. Blend all the ingredients well and apply it on the scalp. Leave it for about half an hour and then wash the hair using a mild shampoo.

Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Peppermint and Essential Oil

Coconut oil penetrates the hair to deeply moisturize, instead of just coating the top layer. Jojoba oil, sold at drugstores and beauty suppliers, is also a powerhouse for hydration. The peppermint essential oil is anti-inflammatory to soothe dandruff and itching. Bonus: While it’s on, this mask will smell amazing.
