India Couture week: Arjun Rampal walks the ramp for Designer Rohit Bal’s show

The first day of India Couture week was concluded by the designer Rohit Bal. The offsite show was at Bikaner House where Rohit presented his ‘Khush Posh’ collection. The collection was an effort to bring back the heritage pieces from the costume collection of royal Mughals which has been celebrated in the museums.

He presented the traditional craft with a modern twist and his classic embroidery work.

The show started with male and female models walking in white colored voluminous gowns with long jackets, saris, and bandh-gala with fitted bottoms.

The dresses of the women were mostly woven into gold and silver threads, and which were in different colors like green, maroon and blue. The Swarovski crystals added shine to the opulent range, which was about Mughal era dressing.

As the show began to catch everyone’s attention with the beautiful outfits, there came the entry of the Bollywood handsome hunk Arjun Rampal.The actor was seen walking in a black bandh-gala and pants, with his killing smile.

Another highlight of his outfit was the motif of cock, a male bird. The new design by the designer is an addition to his iconic motif designs of lotus, peacock.

FDCI director, Sunil Sethi was also seen walking the ramp. He was wearing a white version of white bandh-gala which was also adorned with the new motif in the golden shade.

At the end, when everyone walked in, there was no set schedule because the crowd wanted Arjun back again with Rohit and Sunil Sethi.
