Lakme Fashion Week: Bollywood beauties Kriti Sanon, Kalki Koechlin, Yami Gautam and Hina khan steal the show on 3rd day

Bollywood diva’s Kriti Sanon, Yami Gautam, Kalki Koechlin walked the ramp on the third day at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018.

Kalki Koechlin made heads turn as she turned showstopper for the designer label, Amoh by Jade. Wearing a sheer off-shouldered, sensuous blouse and an ornate, ivory lehenga she ended the show with a bang as the designer duo unveiled their “The Descendants Of Niyam Raja” collection on the ramp. Inspired by the royal descendants of the mountain God — Niyam Raja, from the Niyamgiri hill in Odisha, which is a home to the Dongria Kondh tribe – the collection had immaculately tailored garments.

The collection revolved around Khadi, mulmul, varieties of cotton Chanderi and fine silks. Showcasing the perfect fusion of earthy designs with a modern twist for the Indian heritage, the ensembles emphasized the rich and vibrant history of the Indian Crafts.

Bollywood’s current darling, the gorgeous Kriti Sanon brought the scintillating show to an end as she glided down the catwalk wearing a spectacular nude tulle lehenga, choli and draped dupatta that glittered with the constellation of multi-colored stars for Tarun Tahiliani.

Gorgeous Yami Gautam turned showstopper for Manish Malhotra’s first Merino wool line titled ‘Inaya’ at Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer/Resort 2018. “The collection that is called ‘Inaya’ stands true to my way of paying tribute to Kashmiri craft and concern for the sustainable fashion, it will comprise of Merino wool saris for women and Merino wool bandhgalas and sherwanis for men in pastel hues such as ivory, yellow and blue.”

Big boss 11 runner-up, Hina walked as the showstopper for Kolkata-based designer label Osaa by Adarsh and felt it is a “privilege and just another baby step” that she is taking towards progress.
