Nikasha Tawadey WLIFW A/W 2013

 

Nikasha Tawadey showcased her WLIFW A/W 2013 collection Raat Ki Rani.

The collection is a perfect blend of colour, texture and designs. The collection consists of fitted silhouettes like multi-coloured jumpsuits, mini-kurtas, choli-tanks, dhotis, shararas, saris and waistcoats.

It represents a desi woman, who is bold, beautiful and familiar with her culture.

The collection is available in varied shades like orange, red, green, yellow and purple. The collection combines both Indian and western fashion elements.

It is made up of fabrics such as silk, organza, hand-woven tissue, chanderi, brocade and velvets in bright colours like rani pink, sindoori red, emerald green and midnight blues.

The designs consisted of contemporary styles with sharara jumpsuits, choli tanks, dhoti skirts and patiala pants.

The outfits are not heavily embellished with zardozi or swarovski. Refined threadwork and sequins have been done. The collection is feminine.
