What on earth are you wearing, Rani?

Rani Mukerji is a beautiful woman – a naturally beautiful woman. She looks great with make-up, and she looks quite good without it. But, of late, there seems to be something wrong with her sartorial sense. Her choice of outfits has left her fans disappointed.

Rani, who is busy with the promotions of her upcoming movie, Hichki, was recently spotted attending the song launch wearing a Red Valentino outfit in green, with white lace. The half-sleeved dress ended just above her knees, and featured cut-work detail all over.

The outfit by itself was fine, but it just was not meant for Rani. In fact, she looked fairly inelegant in it.

The saving grace was that she opted for minimal accessories – just a pair of studded silver earrings, a matching bracelet and white pointed-toe heels.

For her make-up, Rani went for a neutral palette, with light smokey eyes and a dash of brown on the lips. Her hair was styled in wavy, blow-dry curls.

Why, Rani, why?

You are so beautiful, why can’t you wear what suits you?

And this is not the first time that she has offended the fashion police.

Remember her hot pink lehenga that she wore at her Diwali bash last year, and how awful it looked?

Or her disastrous winter airport outfit in a Mira Mikati sweater?

Not done, Rani. Please get your act together next time.
