All you need to know about Madame Tussaud’s, Delhi museum

Madame Tussaud’s, Delhi is all set to open its doors to the public. Located in the heart of the national capital, within the Regal Cinema complex in Connaught Place, the museum is set for inauguration on December 1.

The museum houses have 50 wax statues of national and international icons, from the world of sports, music, film, and history, covering the gamut from Mahatma Gandhi to Lady Gaga.

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is displaced at Madame Tussaud’s museum. The trademark Tussaudian color scheme of bright red and gold.

A wax figure of Amitabh Bachchan is displayed at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Delhi. all these wax figures are created in London at Madame Tussaud’s studio.

Another among the 50 wax figures is the Indian actress Madhubala. The total area of the museum is 20,000sq.ft.

Milkha Singh also known as The Flying Sikh, former Indian track and field sprinters wax studio is also displayed at the wax studio.

American actress and model Marilyn Monroe was figure also displayed at the museum. The entry ticket for the children is 760 and for the adults, it’s 960.

Bollywood queen Kareena Kapoor Khan, wax figured is displayed at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. It takes 15 hours to make a pair of resin eyes, 30 hours for each tooth to be replicated in dental acrylic, 50 hours to color the wax head, and 140 hours to insert every strand of hair by hand using a forked needle in the scalp and eyebrows.

A wax figure of Bhagat Singh is displayed at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. All the figures are Handmade, with no machines involved at any point, a figure can take as long as six months to make.

 

Tom Cruise is shown frozen on a motorbike at an angle, lean in and admires the illusion of blood flowing down his cheeks, gasp in wonder at the immaculately rendered veins on his hand which seem to pulsate.
