Hacks to get rid of sugar cravings

Sugar is often referred as white poison. Basically, sugar has no nutritional value, it only adds fat to your body. So, if you find yourself craving a brownie after you’ve just eaten dinner it’s not your fault. The sugar got you.  Unfortunately, when you eat that brownie you’re only going to get a little sugar buzz and then crash, just to begin the whole cycle over again adding more calories and fat to your body. well I have got some easy hacks to get rid of sugar cravings

Drink a green smoothie every day

The smoothie can pack in as much as 9 servings of fruits and vegetables, including all the filling fiber that goes with using the whole fruit. That’s much healthier than the bowl of Frosted Flakes or cream cheese bagel you were having for breakfast, or the chocolate chip granola bar you enjoyed as an afternoon snack with your large mocha.

Drink more water

Whenever you feel like that you want something sugary stuff just has a full glass of water before that. Half of your cravings get finished at that very time.

Eat a small meal every 2-to-3 hours

Doing this also regulates your blood sugar by giving you a constant supply of energy which really reduces your cravings and kills your big appetite.it can be fruits or dry fruits or something else you like which is healthy.

Don’t skip breakfast

Skipping breakfast makes your already low morning blood sugar drop even more and this may cause you to have more food cravings during the day and…You certainly do not want to skip breakfast if your job or lifestyle is stressful as this will make your cravings even worse but on the other hand, it will also make you feel low in your work place.

Make sure you’re getting enough sleep

Not getting enough Sleep makes your body release a hunger causing hormone called Ghrelin that makes you want to eat more. Get at least 7 hours of sleep so you can lower your Ghrelin levels and increase the levels of the fat burning & appetite suppressing hormone Leptin.

Use spices instead of sugar and salt

Use spices like cinnamon, cloves or ginger for flavor which will help you lose weight instead of sugar & salt that makes you FAT because cinnamon, clove, and ginger will decrease your sugar cravings by lowering your blood sugar levels.

Avoid Sweeteners

Sweeteners trick your brain into making you increase your cravings so avoid diet sodas & artificial sweeteners like Nutrasweet, Equal, Sweet N Low, Sweet Twin, Sugar Twin, Splenda, Sunett and Sweet One.

 Eat salads

Whatever you’re eating for the main course, eat it with a huge salad full of leafy greens and veggies, nuts, seeds, avocado, and maybe even some green apple. Top it off with a simple squirt of lemon and pepper, or drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Eat proteins

Eat eggs chicken, use olive oil and also fibre rich carbs like brown rice, eat green leafy vegetables. This will help you to reduce the intensity for your sugar cravings.
