Janhvi and Khushi display a strong sisterly bond

It’s been a while now since super diva Sridevi passed away at the age of 54 in a Dubai hotel, having gone there to attend the wedding of her nephew, Mohit Marwah.

The tributes to the late actress were just never-ending. Everybody seemed to be in denial about her untimely death. But the ones who really suffered the most were her daughters, Janhvi, 21, and Khushi, 17. Janhvi, particularly, was seen breaking down repeatedly at her mother’s funeral.

The Tamil film industry paid a tribute to Sridevi on Sunday, March 11. Both Janhvi and Khushi attended the prayer meet in Chennai with their father, Boney Kapoor, and Sridevi’s close friend, designer Manish Malhotra.

When they came back to Mumbai, the sisters were seen together, with Janhvi holding on tightly to Khushi’s arm. The two displayed a strong sisterly bond.

The young girls were very close with their mother, and it has been a very tough time for them. The media glare must certainly have made matters worse, as they are too young to deal with it.

But shared grief is known to strengthen bonds, and it is hoped that Janhvi and Khushi will support each other and their aggrieved father.

Incidentally, Janhvi is set to make her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, a remake of the Marathi film, Sairat.
