John Travolta receives a standing ovation on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert!

Probably the first time on a talk show EVER! John Travolta walked on to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to not only be welcomed by the host himself but also an audience full of fans who welcomed him with a standing ovation! 

John Travolta will be seen playing a pivotal role in the upcoming show ‘The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story’ that is all set to premiere this Monday, February 10th at 10 PM on Star World Premiere HD! 

As he talks to Colbert, Travolta shared with the audience, his excitement about playing Robert Shapiro, the lead council on the O.J. Simpson case that shook America’s very foundation 20 years ago as one of the most sensational and publicized crime in the history of crime. When asked if he faced any pressure playing a real person The Pulp Fiction star went on to state, “Well, I don’t mind that, because it gives you some sort of a blueprint to work from. I kind of enjoy that.” 

But he also went on to express his concerns that come with it. Travolta said that since he is such a recognizable person, he wants to make sure the audience doesn’t watch the show and see John Travolta disguised as Robert Shapiro.
