Kajol all set to enter Madame Tussauds

How many Indian celebrities can you think of who have their wax statues at London’s renowned wax museum, Madame Tussauds? Here’s a list of some of them: Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit Nene.

Well, the famous museum is all set to add another Indian celebrity – Bollywood diva Kajol.

The Tussauds team has already flown down to India to take Kajol’s measurements. The making of the wax statue is a very detailed process, and skilled officials from the museum have to take accurate measurements of the body, note down facial expressions, body language, etc. Kajol’s wax statue is expected to be placed at the museum this year itself.

Expectedly, Kajol’s family is thrilled and it is said that the entire family, including hubby Ajay Devgn, daughter Nisa and son Yug, will be there with her at the unveiling.

Incidentally, Kajol comes from a family steeped deep in cinema. Her maternal grandmother, Shobhna Samarth, was a highly successful actress, director and producer, her maternal aunt, Nutan, was also an award-winning actress, and her father, Shomu Mukherjee, was a filmmaker.

Kajol has been awarded the Padma Shri and is one of India’s highest paid and most successful actresses. She is involved in several philanthropic endeavours related to women and children.
