Coffee & Tea appreciation session at CBTL


The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) held a special coffee & tea appreciation session followed by live cooking of gourmet food by their Masterchefs at the upgraded flagship store at Select CITYWALK, Saket (New Delhi).


Samuel Varghese, Territory Manager CBTL, shared interesting facts about the different types of roasts available at CBTL, regular (also called House Blend), French Press and decaffeinated.


The guests were offered a variety of tea; classic black teas such as Assam, Estate Darjeeling, English Breakfast and exotic teas such as Japanese Cherry, Genmaicha Green, Tropical Passion, Vanilla Ceylon handcrafted by CBTL’s Master Tea Blender David DeCandia. The highlight of the evening was the Anniversary Blend – a Limited Edition tea, specially designed for 50 yrs of CBTL. It’s a mix of White tea, Green tea, Black, Oolong tea with the goodness of berries. CBTL only uses premium whole leaf tea that releases its full flavour into the water during the steeping process resulting in the most flavourful cup of tea.


There was also a live cooking session of the gourmet food selection. CBTL ensures the use of fresh ingredients to create its gourmet delicacies on a daily basis. Masterchef Sanjay Malkhani and his team gave secret tips behind the signature items on CBTL’s menu; Omelette, Smoked Norwegian Salmon sandwich, Chicken Isabella, Chocolate Fudge Cake, Orange and Asparagus Salad were the star highlights.
