If you are thinking of going on a foreign vacation, and are wondering which place to go to, look no further, and book your tickets to Switzerland. You will not regret it as Switzerland is one of the most beautiful places on earth, with plenty to do and plenty to see. The country is famous for its mountains, lakes, waterfalls and beautiful picnic spots.

Reaching Switzerland

The best way to reach Switzerland is by taking a flight from New Delhi. This is the shortest route from India, taking seven hours. The major international airports of Switzerland are Zurich, Geneva and Basel. If you are thinking of doing a Europe tour, then you can reach Switzerland by train from almost any European country. The train service is excellent. Or you can just drive by car into the country.

When to go

You can go all year round, but summer time is the best as the snow has melted and the view is stunning. The temperature is moderate, at around 26 degrees. June would be the best month to visit as it is early summer, and a good time for hiking.
